Holiday break

We interrupt the current story to post a holiday picture.  For many years I’ve drawn a holiday (usually Christmas) card, photocopied it in black and white onto colored paper, and sent it to friends and family.  I decided this year to take a short break from the strip to produce that card. 

But I wanted to post something here, so I chose and recolored an image from long ago.  The theme is one of my favorites – the Three Wise Men – with earlier versions of my cast of characters playing the parts.  You’ll notice that Hrikki looks like the Snoof, but with flippers and no nose, and Arkal has hardly changed.
